11.30am Trouser Pattern Making Sonja will use a trouser pattern from the Lutterloh collection to draft and fit the pattern on a volunteer using only her hip measurement. She will discuss fitting issues and some design changes. Masterclass cost $5.
1pm Little Black Dress Every woman should have a LBD…whether it’s long and dramatic; short, and sassy; or cute and simple. We will kick-off with a princess-line fitted pattern from the Lutterloh Pattern collection. World of Wool Felt. Gai Taylor, Just Patchwork, Stand C11 Wool felt appliqué can be used to create dimensional projects ranging from craft bag embellishing, to cushions, wall hangings and quilts. Gai will explain the advantages of using 100% wool felt, and provide guidance on needle and thread selection. A range of embroidery stitches will be demonstrated in the class.
