Join a class with our visiting guest artist from France, Ségolaine Schweitzer,
and create an enchanting needlecase using woollen fabrics and threads.
Make a charming needlecase from recycled woollen fabrics found in the flea markets and fabric stores of Paris by Ségolaine. With plain or fancy woollen threads, Ségolaine will guide you in embroidering the green woodpecker and its tree, in her unique style with simple rustic stitches.
Everyone will be able to add their personal touches to the basic design.

Skill level: all welcome
Materials included: Recycled fabrics from clothing will be provided for cutting out pieces for the project.
Cheese cloth or muslin, tissue paper, needles, woollen fabric, blanket pieces and threads will be supplied.
Class requirements: Bring your basic sewing gear: scissors, pins, pencil, etc. If you have special fabrics or threads you want to use, feel free to bring them. No machines are used in this class.
