10.30am: How to Stitch Boro. Learn the technique of Boro – a fun process designed to repair, design and make a piece of art – many options will be discussed where you can use your scraps to recycle. Ideal for beginners!
Class duration: One hour. Kit cost $20, including scrap pack, needle and Sashiko thread.
12noon: Fabric Flower Brooch. Learn how to make a gorgeous brooch with yarn dyed fabrics – ideal for dress or bag decoration. Great for beginners!
Class duration: 50 minutes. Kit is $15 for two brooches.
1.30pm: Come join Sashiko Hint Cornerand see new pre-stencilled Sashiko panels with exclusive designs, tools to make Sashiko a joy to do and ask any Sashikorelated questions you may have – see a small trunk show of products and samples – it’s free!
2.30pm: Learn the Therapeutic Art of
Sashiko stitching. Learn how to stitch one of a set of six Sashiko coaster sets… do one in class and have five more to complete at home. It’s a quick, easy project, ideal for beginners!
