Make a personalised fashion figure template and learn to draw the proportions of a fashion figure from scratch. Perfect for the creative person to learn the fundamentals of illustration.

Workshop Includes: 2B 0.5 Pacer/pencil, erasers, figure templates, professional bleedproof paper, list of tips and tricks.

Make a personalised fashion figure template and learn to draw the proportions of a fashion garment on a fashion figure from scratch. Get a bit more technical and add a garment to your fashion figure!

Workshop Includes: 2B 0.5 Pacer/pencil, erasers, figure templates, professional bleed-proof paper, list of tips and tricks, use of Copic fashion markers, textures for rubbings.

Skill Level: Beginner +
Class Cost: $90
Students Bring:
Sketch book, .05, 02, 01 black pigment ink pens,
textures for rubbings, colouring in pencils and sharpener.

Meet Penelope Bell

Want an opportunity to try your hand at fashion illustration with seasoned fashion and children’s illustrator, Penelope Bell?  With a formal qualification in Fashion Design, Textiles, Clothing and Footwear, Bell’s initial career was in the fashion industry.  Bell’s illustration work has been published in Education Queenslands learning curriculum and she designed the creative campaign hero image for Brisbane Racings 2017 Spring Racing Carnival.  Bell’s clients include: Max Mara, Michael Kors, Queens Plaza, Pacific Fair, Treasury Hotel, Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), and Museum of Brisbane to name a few.

An Alumni of the Brisbane City Council and recipient of the Lord Mayor’s Young and Emerging Artist’s Fellowship, Bell has worked in New York for leading and luxury branding agency, Harrison and Shriftman.  Bell has designed and stocked her own fashion label, Penelope Bell, and has recently created and launched her new fashion project Consciously Spending Less to Create More.
