This fashion design event challenges designers to transform throw-away items into wearable artworks culminating in a spectacular catwalk presentation. The competition is open to anyone and this year has attracted a record number of entries. The parade and awards evening was held on August 1 this year. Entrants were judged on innovative use of waste materials, design originality, visual impact, best theme and design and construction. This will be your chance to view a small selection of the best, up close, at the fair. Pictured are some of last year's entries.
