There has been a mini-revival of this ancient art in the ACT with membership of the Embroiderers’ Guild ACT Inc increasing in recent years. Come and see why as members demonstrate and show all types of embroidery including hardanger, stumpwork, crewel stitch, ribbon embroidery, surface and counted stitches, blackwork, goldwork and crazy patchwork.

The guild meets weekly for stitching and socialising and this talented group are willing to share their knowledge with all comers, especially beginners. Find out about the guild’s activities and classes run throughout the year by speaking with members at the display.
