The display by Treadles & Treasures will feature a unique antique sewing machine made by the German company Wertheim, known as the Triplex model. The machine is a style known as a combination treadle. The Triplex model was designed in the 1890s and was unique at the time because it could create a lock stitch, a chain stitch or an embroidery stitch just by moving a small lever.
