The display by Treadles & Treasures will feature a unique antique sewing machine made by the German company Wertheim, known as the Triplex model. The machine is a style known as a combination treadle. The Triplex model was designed in the 1890s and was unique at the time because it could create a lock stitch, a chain stitch or an embroidery stitch just by moving a small lever. Come and see this amazing antique, one of only a handful known worldwide, plus the many other vintage machines in the collection. Rob and Lynne Sanders will be at the fair to answer all your questions and demonstrate some of the pieces in their collection.
